Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the CodeSOTA benchmark registry, website at codesota.com, public APIs, and related tools or features (collectively, the “Service”). The Service is operated by Kacper Wikiel (“we”, “us”, “CodeSOTA”).

By creating an account or using the Service in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Service Description

CodeSOTA provides a public registry of AI benchmarks, models, datasets, evidence, and research tools.

/ Includes

  • --Public API access to source-aware benchmark results
  • --Search, comparison, and decision tools for AI models and tasks
  • --Benchmark data and state-of-the-art tracking for ML models
  • --Contributor accounts for submitting and reviewing evidence

Accounts & Registration

Some contribution and account features require registration. If you create an account, you must provide accurate information and are responsible for:

  • --Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and API keys
  • --All activity that occurs under your account
  • --Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • --Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • --Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
  • --Resell, sublicense, or redistribute API access without authorization
  • --Submit documents containing malware or malicious code
  • --Circumvent rate limits, usage quotas, or security measures
  • --Process documents you do not have the legal right to process

Violation may result in immediate suspension or termination without refund.

Intellectual Property

Your content

You retain all rights to the documents you upload and the structured output generated from them. We do not claim ownership over your input or output data.

Our service

The Service, including its design, code, benchmark data, APIs, and documentation, is owned by CodeSOTA and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Data Processing

Documents submitted to the API are processed to generate structured output and are not retained after processing is complete, unless explicitly configured otherwise in your account settings. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Service Availability & Warranty

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or 100% accurate processing results. OCR and document parsing are inherently imperfect processes. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service with reasonable notice.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CodeSOTA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CodeSOTA is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the Service.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Warsaw, Poland.
